Connection point symbol

To show connection points with a special symbol, the library must contain the symbol CONNECTION_POINT_SYMBOL. The attributes of this symbol are:

• Symbol for application: pd
• PD 2D Symbol Category: System
• Show in 2D symbol menu: No

You can have different symbols for different kinds of connection points. For example, a branch can be shown with a different symbol than a connection between a pipe and armature, as shown in the picture below.

The look of the symbol is defined in the symbol file. See Example 2D symbol for connection points.
